Who are Hey! Dip Your Toes In?
Last month, we welcomed the award-winning travel and lifestyle content creators, Hey! Dip Your Toes In to explore The Gambia. Based in London, co-founders Eulanda and Omo Osagiede blend personal storytelling with practical travel tips, cultural insights and recommendations from around the globe. They share their food, culture and lifestyle content through blogs and social channels, inspiring their followers to enrich their lives through exploration of the world. We thought their authentic storytelling style and passion for meaningful travel made them the perfect choice to explore The Gambia - a collaboration we’ve truly enjoyed!
Mandina Lodges
Over their unforgettable 4-night adventure, Eulanda and Omo embraced the vibrant culture, sun-soaked beaches and breathtaking beauty of The Smiling Coast. We curated a fantastic itinerary for them, featuring the very best excursions, properties and cuisine The Gambia has to offer.
A trip of a lifetime
Hey! Dip Your Toes In began their trip by taking our charter flight to Banjul, arriving refreshed and ready to explore, thanks to no jet lag, short flight time and upgrade to Star Class Silver. For their first two nights, they stayed in Ngala Lodge, an adults-only sanctuary with tropical gardens, pristine swimming pools and an eclectic mix of art and sculpture. As one of our firm customer favourites, it’s no surprise that Eulanda and Omo enjoyed soaking up the sunshine on the Ngala tidal beach, whilst relaxing in this tranquil, cliffside hideaway.

Poolside at Ngala Lodge
During their stay at Ngala, the couple immersed themselves in two of our unforgettable excursions, no doubt proving to be highlights of their trip. First, they enjoyed a private birdwatching tour, courtesy of expert guide Malick Suso. With over 20 years of birdwatching experience in The Gambia, he expertly accompanied them through spotting some of the country’s most breathtaking species. The following day brought Cooking with Ida, a fantastic excursion that offers a deeper immersion into authentic Gambian life. Through cooking, dancing, music and Ida’s infectious personality, the influencers delighted in the country’s vibrant culture and cuisine.
Cooking with Ida
After a busy first few days, Eulanda and Omo headed for some much-needed rest and relaxation at Senegambia Beach Hotel. The largest hotel in The Gambia, this blissful retreat is complete with two swimming pools, restaurants, bars and evening entertainment. Tastefully decorated with neutral tones and wooden furniture, the calming feel offered them the perfect haven for a comfortable night’s sleep.
