Flights to The Gambia: a moment of reflection.
We know you’ve been waiting. And we know many of you have been eager for an update. Securing the right airline partner for our charter flights to The Gambia has not been an easy or straightforward process, given how late our intended partner became unavailable. While we had hoped to confirm our programme sooner, some unexpected developments along the way meant we needed to reassess our options and work hard to ensure we could put the right programme in place.
We understand that the uncertainty around our airline has made it difficult for many of you to plan your winter holiday. However, our team has been working incredibly hard behind the scenes throughout this process. We can confirm that our direct charter flight programme for October is now confirmed, and we’re finalising the last details for the remainder of the season. We will share the full airline and flight information with you shortly. Understandably, we are prioritising our customers who have already booked with us for the upcoming season, and who will be individually contacted with an update.

Flight Information
We fly direct from London Gatwick to The Gambia during winter, from October to April. Our LGW scheduled flight times are morning departures, generally returning back to the UK at approximately 10pm.
From November, we operate twice weekly direct flights from London Gatwick to Banjul with additional flights over Christmas. Seats are pre-allocated at no additional charge with in-flight catering of a light meal and 8kg hand luggage, plus 20kg hold luggage also included as standard. It might be possible to purchase additional luggage on some departures.
In addition, we offer an upgraded flight service, with seats located at the front of the aircraft and offering extras both at the airports and on board, including airport lounges, an empty middle seat for extra comfort and an increased luggage allowance.
