February | Carnival time

Carnival in São Vicente, Cape Verde is an explosion of colour, music, dancing and festivities. The streets of Mindelo come alive with floats and processions. Held 40 days before Easter, you can join the celebrations with our 5-night add-on package.


March | Holi festival in Goa

Holi is a festival of love and colour, a religious festival of the Hindus and one of the most celebrated in India. Taking place on a full moon day in March, you will experience celebrations throughout Goa usually including lots of colourful powder!


April | Whale watching

April is one of the best times to see the mighty humpback whales around the island of Boa Vista in Cape Verde, a breeding ground for these magnificent animals. Catamaran trips are available to try and glimpse these elusive gentle giants.
