Our ATOL and ABTA bonding means that any package holiday booked with us is fully protected in the event that government restrictions are still in place to The Gambia at the time of travel.

The Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) is advising British citizens to avoid all but essential travel to anywhere in the world due to unprecedented international border closures and other restrictions. 

If you have an existing booking and are travelling on or before 6th July 2020, we will be in contact with you as soon as we can to discuss your options.

We are monitoring the government advice daily and our policies are constantly under review. Rest assured, we will contact our customers should their bookings be affected by any change in our policy. 


Flexible future travel

If you book flights or a holiday before 30th June 2020 for travel before 30th April 2021, you will now be able to change to any flight or holiday that’s currently on sale up until 30th April 2021 without paying an amendment fee. Bookings are also fully protected with our ATOL and ABTA bonding.

If your flight or holiday was curtailed

Following the change in advice by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) on the 17th March 2020, restricting all but essential international travel, for the welfare and safety of our customers, we put in place immediate arrangements to repatriate our customers back to the UK as soon as possible. It was subsequently announced, by the Gambia government, that they were to close all airspace and land borders, effective midnight, on 23rd March, for 21 days.

As your trip was curtailed whilst you were in The Gambia, due to circumstances completely beyond our control, any claims for refunds of your travel, accommodation and any other elements, should be addressed to your travel insurers. This is the reason why we include the need for travel insurance within our booking terms and conditions.
