See some wonderful local smiles from The Gambia.

The Gambia is well known as 'the smiling coast' and not without good reason. Gambians are among the friendliest people you could hope to meet and they certainly smile a lot. Whether they are total strangers or old friends, almost everyone has a smile for you.

If you use Twitter you may have come across #FriFotos where each week a theme is picked and people all around the globe tweet photos related to that theme using the #FriFotos hashtag. Today’s theme, as you may have guessed, is ’smiles’ so I couldn’t resist sharing with you some of the beautiful smiles I have been lucky enough to receive from the smiling coast of Africa.
