The rooms

The main building of Ngala Lodge was formerly a colonial mansion and houses the 10 original suites over two floors, some having their own private garden area. Gradually a variety of different suites have been added (such as the Macondo suites pictured below) to provide holidaymakers with even more choice and luxury, however retaining the sense of space and intimacy. Each room has many individual features, such as a small library of reading material, designed to make guests feel very much at home. 

 

The grounds

The hotel’s grounds offer a truly tranquil setting, perfect for a relaxing holiday. It’s difficult not to fall in love with this remarkable oasis of serenity and beauty, especially with the exquisite features and gardens that are just waiting to be discovered.

The food

The beach

The tidal coastline is an attractive, sandy cove which can be reached by steps down from the hotel and provides an ideal spot for fishing or a romantic stroll.
