A refurbishment of Ocean Bay Hotel's reception area and restaurant in 2015 has created beautifully light and airy spaces. A small spa and room improvements were also introduced, with our standard rooms now offering a sea view, while larger deluxe rooms provide additional facilities.
The large pool area at Ocean Bay Hotel remains a focal point for activities and evening entertainment, surrounded by sunloungers, parasols and a shaded seating area. You’ll discover an air of tranquillity throughout the hotel’s lush gardens, while the long beach, accessed directly from the hotel, is one of the finest in The Gambia.
Dining at Ocean Bay
During the day, the pool bar with pizza oven provides an inviting lunchtime snack, and there’s also the choice of two restaurants; one serving buffet-style breakfast, lunch and dinner, including Gambian delicacies, and the beachside Buddha Restaurant & Lounge serving beautifully presented sushi as well as other Asian and international dishes.
Why not try a cocktail from one of the hotel bars, or a lemongrass iced tea for which it's well known? There are also themed evenings scheduled during winter, with entertainment including shows by the resident animation team and live bands to appeal to all the family.
