What We Think
Formerly known as the Tafbel Hotel and under the same management team as Bungalow Beach in Kotu, Sarge’s Hotel offers simple accommodation with a friendly atmosphere and is centrally located in the popular resort of Kololi.
The standard rooms have been refurbished during summer 2012 and offer a good level of accommodation for this grade of hotel. Blocks of rooms are arranged on three floors surrounding the central courtyard housing the swimming pool and sun terraces.The standard rooms are fairly small but well furnished with duvets and television. Air-conditioning is available locally for a supplement, or is included in upgraded Suites. The hotel also offers larger triple rooms, also known as Studios (not yet renovated), giving a better option for groups or families with the ground floor rooms being especially suitable for children.
If the pool is not for you, the hotel has access to a sandy beach no more than 400 metres away. Evening entertainment takes the form of local shows, although you may find the hotel can be less busy in the evenings due to the convenient location in the centre of Kololi. There is an excellent variety of restaurants, a number of bars and nightclubs, casinos, craft market and shops all just outside the hotel, therefore we do not offer this hotel on a half board basis.
The hotel also offers its own massage centre and hairdresser, along with an internet cafe and bank - this is a good value choice for both groups and those wanting a simple hotel in the heart of a lively resort.
