What We Think
You will undoubtedly be drawn to the hotel’s impressive freshwater swimming pool, which is the central meeting point for guests; at 400m2 in size, it’s the largest in Saly, and with its own Jacuzzi, it is perfect for cooling off and swimming. Although not immediately on the beach, the hotel’s own private beach is only a stone’s throw away and you can relax there in comfort whilst staff serve you with cool drinks.
For those who want to participate in some light exercise, you can play pétanque, badminton and table tennis, or enjoy a workout in the fitness room. A well-deserved rest can then be taken in the massage and beauty salon, which offers a variety of treatments.
The serene and spacious suites are arranged throughout the gardens in two-storey houses; with a separate lounge area and bedroom, and light furnishings, they exude a bright and airy feel, quite in keeping with the hotel’s tranquil atmosphere.
For dining, Neptune’s restaurant is well known for excellent cuisine and guests can enjoy typical African dishes as well as a delicious European menu. For something a little different, sample one of the themed African evenings, which take place in a genuine Mauritanian tent.
