The unique spiral shaped pool is definitely a focal point of the hotel – shaded sun beds surround it and the pool bar serves drinks and snacks all day to keep guests refreshed. Out of the sun, the lounge, which is adjacent to the pool area, offers books, board games and satellite television to occupy restless sun worshippers and you’ll also find an Internet area and gift shop selling souvenirs and displaying artwork from local Senegalese artists.
For dining, the hotel restaurant spills out onto the pool terrace, offering a variety of local Senegalese and European dishes.
Another striking feature of the Hotel Royam are the extensive lawns, bordered by colourful shrubs and bougainvillea, which lead down to the coconut tree lined sandy beach that’s reserved for hotel guests. Here, relax on the white sands or take advantage of the various watersports on offer.
