What We Think
The hotel underwent a major refurbishment in 2011, re-opening in December 2011, and promises to surpass its previous reputation of elegance and excellent service.
Days can be spent relaxing by the pool or on the white sands of the hotel’s private beach where, for the more energetic, there are a number of watersports available as well as the new Beach Club, with its fitness centre and floodlit tennis court. To totally unwind, you need go no further than the hotel’s spa; relax in the hydrotherapy pool and the therapeutic baths or with one of the many beauty and massage treatments on offer. The Saly Fishing Club also offers deep-sea fishing trips from the hotel’s own marina. In a prime beachfront location, the accommodation itself is impressive, designed in an African style, with two-storey thatched houses set amongst colourful, manicured gardens, each with light and airy rooms complete with their own terrace.
You will be spoilt for choice when it comes to dining with sumptuous themed buffets served in the main restaurant, Le Lamantin and à la carte dinners in the Beach Club, in its enviable position overlooking the beach. Lunches, drinks and evening entertainment are also available in the nautically styled Le Terrasse du Port, alongside the marina.
