A perfect voyage of discovery! Cruising creeks and rivers of the Delta, you’ll visit new places every day, and with your skipper at the helm, often you’ll be seeing sights that aren’t always accessible by road. With so few people on board you’ll have the freedom to sail along at your own pace, pausing for that special photo opportunity or to dip your toes in the cooling waters. Meals are arranged both on board and on shore at a variety of small lodges or hotels; on board you can choose to dine in the lounge area or outside on the deck. With a fully stocked bar and kitchenette, your host will ensure you always have a refreshing drink in your hand as you relax in one of the seating or sunbathing areas. There are three double guest cabins with private en suite facilities, so even with a maximum of six guests on board, there is plenty of space in which to unwind so the catamaran never feels crowded.
As well as simply enjoying the pleasure of sailing along the creeks, relaxing and sunbathing, there will be plenty of opportunities for swimming, beach walks, bird and wildlife spotting, fishing, visits to the local villages and schools and BBQs on the beach. It could even be the perfect opportunity to learn the basics of sailing for those of you who are novices.
Setting sail from The Gambia, we offer a choice of 3 and 6 night trips that can be taken alone or combined with a stay in a Gambian hotel of your choice. Prices for a 3 night sailing trip are available from £499 per person based on 6 sharing the catamaran, all meals included (flights and drinks not included).
