The 58 simply furnished rooms are housed in either thatched roofed bungalows or buildings scattered amongst the trees in the spacious grounds. The rooms are a comfortable size and all have mosquito nets and the option to upgrade to air-conditioning at a supplement.
The restaurant has a lovely view through the trees down to the hotel’s jetty. Guests have a choice of dishes at lunchtime consisting of Senegalese and French cuisine and a set meal in the evening. The swimming pool and sun terraces are surrounded by gardens and daytime activities within the hotel area include table tennis and pétanque. There are also a number of pirogues and kayaks for exploring the local creeks.
The hotel is located on the outskirts of Toubakouta, a typical Senegalese village with a very friendly and hospitable population. Simply walking around the village will give you a good insight into African life and will ensure you take home fantastic memories of your holiday.
