Gambians return home from Libya

17 March 2011

Last week more than 500 Gambians returned to The Gambia from Libya. Flights chartered by the Gambian Government arrived at Banjul International Airport on Thursday, Friday and Saturday carrying 164, 175 and 172 nationals respectively. Apparently another three charter flights are due to return more Gambians home safely in the coming days.
