The Gambia’s Belgian football coach, Paul Put, has named his squad for the 2012 African Nations Cup qualifier against Namibia at home this Saturday. Included in the squad are 20 players who play in Europe and America and just three who are based in The Gambia.
Momodou Ceesay returns to the squad after his recent form with Slovakian champions MSK Zilina who are into the UEFA Champions League group stage for the fist time. Kebba Ceesay and Mamadou Futty Danso have been called-up for the first time as the team looks to bring through young players. The full squad is:
