Telecommunication services group Comium Gambia limited opened a new customer care centre in the village of Sukuta in Kombo North last week to expand its services and satisfy the increase in demand.
The global telecommunication company first started its operations in the Gambia in May last year, providing consumers with a greater choice and lower costs by creating competition between three different GSM operators.
Ms Fatim Badjie, senior communications officer at Comium, told the Daily Observer: "The opening of the new Comium customer care branch in Sukuta would not only support and promote the welfare of their customers in Sukuta but also the entire Kombo North district."
The Comium Group has been operating for 12 years and currently offers a wide range of services from GSM, international traffic, internet and data operations, to e-commerce, web-design and engineering.
Gambia's two other telecommunication companies are Africell limited and Gambia Telecommunications Cellular Company limited.
