The director general of the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA) is on a visit to Gambia.
Abdelaziz Khelef arrived on Wednesday as part of a regional visit that includes the Republics of Senegal, Guinea Bissau, and Mauritania between November 14th and November 28th, according to the African Press Association.
He will be received by Gambia's president and minister for finance, among other senior officials.
They will talk about cooperation between the Gambia and BADEA, which finances 24 development projects in the country that fulfil the Millennium Development objectives.
Nigeria, Ghana and the Gambia resolved to work together to promote and market the west African sub-region and also encourage leisure travel between the countries at the World Travel Market earlier this week.
