Most hotels offer some form of evening entertainment, varying from a single kora player to a lively stage show or an African dance troupe. Las Vegas it isn't, but there are a number of bars, a few clubs and three casinos, located mainly in Kololi, Kotu and South Kotu.
Saly in Senegal is livelier with a greater selection of nightclubs and discos where you will find lots of mirrors, fancy lighting, huge amps and, yes spinning disco balls. It's in the energetic dancing and music where you will really notice a difference, consisting of African, R&B, Western pop and techno.
