Conference facilities at The Kairaba, The Sheraton and Corinthia Atlantic hotels are excellent with large dividable halls plus several committee rooms. Many other hotels can also offer conference facilities for smaller groups.
In addition to our other properties, we also offer two budget hotels, Badala Park and Palm Beach which provide an excellent cost effective option for larger groups. Both are located in the Kotu area and offer basic rooms and private facilities in an informal and fun atmosphere with a pool, restaurant, snack bar and daytime activities.

Palm Beach Hotel
Aptly named, the hotel benefits from its beachfront location and the palm trees the owner planted all over the beach several years ago. The public areas are spacious and cool and the pool area with neighbouring stage, where most of the daytime and evening entertainment takes place, is the focal point of the hotel. The rooms are situated in two storey blocks within mature gardens and are simply furnished. There is an option to upgrade to an air-conditioned room. There are a number of bars and restaurants within the Kotu area which is only a 15 minute walk away, however there is a lack of pavements. For guests choosing to dine within the hotel there is a restaurant, pool and lounge bar.

Badala Park
This hotel is Gambian owned and together with the staff, have created a welcoming and informal atmosphere. The centre of activity in the hotel is the good sized swimming pool and surrounding sun terraces. During the day drinks and snacks are available from the poolside bar. In the evening the pool beds are removed and replaced with tables set up for dinner around the pool creating a relaxed and distinctly tropical atmosphere. It is also a vantage point from which to enjoy the evening entertainment which takes place by the pool. Two storey buildings in the gardens house the reasonably sized rooms, each with a balcony or terrace. Whilst the furnishings are very simple, the rooms all have private facilities and fans. Although set back some 200 yards from Kotu Beach, there is a pathway leading directly from the hotel down to the beach where there is a beach bar.
