Photography Workshops at Ngala Lodge
The Gambia Experience has joined forces with Focus-Gambia a company that twins professional photographers with vibrant photo-rich destinations, in turn devising expert-led holiday itineraries perfectly suited to both the beginner and the more experienced photographer.
The Gambia Experience and Focus-Gambia are running Photography Workshops at the Ngala Lodge Hotel on selected dates throughout 2008 and 2009. The next workshops, with professional photographer Mark Bauer, are due to depart on Tuesday the 30th September 2008 with places still available. Glenn Edwards, a photojournalist, is running the 10th October departure which leaves Gatwick on Friday.
All trips are of a 7-night duration and incorporate three set days of expert tuition from a professional photographer interspersed with three days of competition based on Betina Skobvro's photo marathons. This unique combination enables those attending to balance learning with their a distinctive photographic challenege or their own personal holiday time. Focus Gambia can also offer Long Weekends Breaks from Friday to Tuesday for a concentrated Workshop, ideal for camera clubs and schools - availability and prices on request.
Package prices start at Special Offer £600 per person for 7 nights. This price includes bed and breakfast accommodation at Ngala Lodge (based on two sharing) and return flights from Gatwick and airport transfers. The Photography Workshop costs £340 and includes 3 days intensive tuition from a professional photographer, 3 evening meals (worth £48), transportation and a guide (in addition to the professional photographer to ensure you are in the right place and at the right time to catch those perfect shots).
These workshops will challenge you, as well as create the environment you need to test your skills and learn new techniques
