RSS

RSS (or Really Simple Syndication) is a very handy tool for keeping up to date with a number of websites without having to visit them all.

RSS

By subscribing to that websites ‘feed’ you will be notified anytime new content appears. All you need to do is get yourselves a ‘feed reader’. We think the best of these is the Google Reader but there are many others out there, including Netvibes, RSS Bandit and many more – all of these are also free. Most web browsers also now have RSS readers built into them – this is certainly true of Internet Explore 7 and most versions of Firefox. If you use any of these browsers simply clicking on the orange RSS symbol above will bring up a prompt asking you where you would like to store the feed. You can also follow our feed on our Gambia Experience Twitter account: http://twitter.com/GambiaXperience
